During my recent stay at the Ona Palmira Paradise in Paguera, I thoroughly enjoyed the blend of comfort and charm that this hotel offers. The air-conditioned rooms were tastefully renovated, featuring comfortable balconies that allowed us to soak in the stunning views-we soaked up the tranquility like a good Spanish paella, slowly simmering under the sun. As a Spanish chef, the hotel's restaurant caught my attention with its impressive variety of international dishes; the grilled meat and fish were truly delightful, though I couldn't help but wish for sauces like mojo rojo to elevate the flavors further. The evening entertainment, including a talented saxophonist, complemented our relaxed nights perfectly, leaving us with a kind of serene satisfaction that only good food and music can provide. The afternoons by the pool were blissfully peaceful, with always just enough sunbeds available-though I have to admit, I did play the Spanish game of 'towel reservation' a couple of times myself! With the beach just a short stroll away, we explored the beautiful coastline, stopping at local restaurants to relish in the cuisine. I can confidently say that I would return to this little slice of paradise without hesitation-the experience felt as inviting as a warm bowl of gazpacho on a sunny day.
